kunzt was founded in Belgium by Kris Ghesquière in November 2005 as a company to promote, show and sell art by international artists globally. We partner with galleries, artist and publishers from around the globe in order to provide our customers with access to the world’s best art. We are one of Europe’s longest-existing online galleries, and each work on kunzt.gallery is there for its quality and authenticity. The artworks are shown in a way that serves the most experienced art collectors and curators but also welcomes new and amateur art enthusiasts. Since October 2010, kunzt is part of del mundoo s.a. Kris remains the operational manager of kunzt.

Why is it interesting to purchase artworks on kunzt.gallery?

Life is short and we believe there is too much art on the Internet to filter through all by yourself. So, we are dedicated to gathering a great number of partners of the art world in order to offer you unique, compelling, contemporary artworks and talented artists. We carefully curate each piece, and our website was created to offer you an uncommon browsing experience in a very interactive way.

Can I view the artwork in person prior to purchase?

Our inventory is housed all over the world, so we are not always able to accommodate viewing sessions prior to purchase. If an artwork is located near you, we can arrange an appointment to view the artwork. If this is not the case, please use our “Zoom” and “View in a Room” features for a more detailed look at an item.

How do I know that the artwork is authentic?

All the artworks on sale on kunzt.gallery are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity proving their originality, delivered to you once the transaction is completed. We pride ourselves on the reliability and competency of our selected galleries.

Are the artworks exactly as I see them in the images online?

Our images offer an exact reproduction of the artwork. However, screen resolutions and brightness may reflect sublet variations from the final artwork.

How do I know if an item is available?

All items are available for sale unless indicated as “sold” or “currently not available.” Due to the nature of kunzt’s partnership and consignment structure, rare instances occur when an item’s sold-out status is not immediately updated.

Do you provide framing services?

We focus on selling art, not on framing it. If you are interested in framing, please contact us at info@kunzt.gallery and we'd be happy to help you find a framer nearby.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We believe that collecting art is a special occasion, and so there are no shopping carts, registration forms or credit-card entries on our site. You may pay through bank transfer. In some cases, we might accept cash payment and/ or credit cards. Please note that every order must be fully paid for before we ship the artwork.

What are your return and cancellation policies?

Items offered through kunzt are not eligible for return and cannot be canceled at any time once an order is placed. These sales are final.

Will I be liable to pay import duty on my artwork?

Additional taxes can be applied if artworks are sent across country borders – these taxes are called customs duties and vary according to the countries involved and what is being shipped. Please consult your local customs office for more details about duties and taxes.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we are happy to ship most artworks to any destination in the world.

How are shipping costs determined?

Shipping costs are determined based on the price, dimensions, and weight of the item purchased, as well as by the item’s origin and the shipping destination. Please email us to estimate shipping costs on a work you like.

What happens when I log in?

By creating a free account on kunzt, you can save artworks you like, follow your favorite artists, and select categories you like. You will then be notified when new artworks that might interest you become available. Your profile, likes, and follows are private, and only visible to you.

How can I save my favorite artworks and artists?

By accessing the website through your personal account, you may save your favorite artworks or those you intend to keep track of. By clicking the heart symbol on an artwork, the artwork will be added to your favorite artworks. By clicking the follow symbol on an artist profile, this artist will be added to your favorite artists.
